Founded by Erik Frederickson in 1974, Frederickson Electric has grown from a one-man operation to become one of the largest electrical contractors on the Olympic Peninsula by developing a reputation for quality work and outstanding customer service. We continually strive to maintain our standing as the most respected and trusted electrical contractor in the area.
Our experienced crew of journeyman electricians has an average of 17 years in the field. They are qualified to install and service everything from residential video and data networks to 480-volt equipment in commercial and light industrial settings. We provide continuing education so that all of our field employees are up to date with the latest changes in technology and electrical code requirements. We are also committed to jobsite safety, and we are proud to maintain one of the lowest risk classifications of all the electrical contractors in western Washington.
The office staff at Frederickson Electric brings a wealth of experience to work for you. We have expertise in the areas of residential and commercial estimating, electrical system design, project management, and purchasing. The Frederickson Electric team has a proven track record for completing projects on time and on budget, regardless of size or complexity.

Dave Campbell Jr. – Solar Project Manager
Dave became interested in electrical work through his enthusiasm for solar power. He received a B.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then served 5 years as an officer in the Navy. While working for the National Outdoor Leadership School, he managed a branch of the school run entirely from solar power, while living on a solar powered sail boat. He built and wired his own house in Mexico and lived there with an off-grid solar system over a 15 year period. Dave learned about solar site evaluation, design, and sales at Borrego Solar in Berkeley, CA, and then worked in Mexico installing off-grid solar systems before joining Frederickson Electric as an apprentice electrician in 2016. After a year and half in the field Dave moved into the office to help customers go solar!
